PS. It's been 5 years - 2012-2017. A lot of water under the bridge.
Below, what I thought I'd be writing about - more on life, less about ideas. But throughout my life, my focus has kept shifting. I'm very concerned with protecting rights and freedoms. Over the past few years that has led to ever increasing exploration of Islam and so-called political correctness - what a mild-sounding term for a very dangerous force.
And now, from 2012, here's what I
thought I'd be writing about:
While you may be enjoying these diary blogs, you may also be wondering: just what is it about?
It's about what's touching me, moving me, holding my attention.
That's not only one thing - my life isn't all focused on one thing.
Helping things - people, kittens, freedom - flourish.
That is core. Flourishing in my own life - that's also core. Human rights, inner freedom, a world with safety.
Newborn kittens. Finding homes for kittens.
Creative stuff. Words and images that capture moments, feelings, thoughts. Music, songs, spoken world.
Creating a teleseminar series on the inroads into personal freedom linked to increased Islamic presence in the West.
Personal life - sometimes that also makes its appearance in these blog journals.
And I keep thinking about you. Who are you? What moves you, reaches you, touches you.
Yet when I write, it is from myself.
My hope: that these blog journals give you something, get you further in your own journey.
So what is this blog about? It's includes thoughts on life, personal blogs, cat blogs, music blogs, and lots of idea blogs, especially on what I see happening around me - so important the threats to freedom and safety, to human rights.
Diary blogs, blogs journals. Before the internet, we might have called this simply a journal.
And with that, all the best to all of us in our personal quests, personal journeys.

Like life is about so much much more.
