My post started:

In both classes, Israel and Gaza came up - and both classes were overwhelmingly on the side of the people in Gaza, supposedly horribly oppressed by Israel. Over and over, the students mentioned the 2000 dead in Gaza vs the less than 100 dead in Israel.

It didn't matter that ...

The comments poured in...

Thank you, Elsa, for this piece. All I can say is that Muslims are far better at propaganda (and intimidation and violence). As has been observed, "while we sharpen our arguments, the Muslims sharpen their swords."

There is going to be a grim accounting, before this is over. If I may say, we need far, far more attention to immigration trends. None of the work that you and I do will have the least point if the Government and Opposition continue to support the absurdly high per capita immigration intake, and regard immigration - including from hostile environments - as a vote-importing exercise. It's that simple.

You lost the game before you even started. The key is to never be on the defensive. Always the offensive and YOU take control of the conversation.

Every issue you brought up was defensive. This is why you didn't get through to them. Speak in a neutral tone and once in the odd while, raise it a bit…

Thank you so much for sharing this resourceful, helpful material. I had an encounter with a Turkish couple, tourists in Vancouver. Not surprising our conversation also included the Gaza- Israeli conflict, but in spite of my efforts to present a humble, compassionate, caring perspective for all Human life, his condemnation of Israel was vociferous and unbending. The exchange left me deeply saddened: the "stone wall" of a communication barrier could not be penetrated. The sad fact is that Israel does not have the right to exist in the minds of too many Muslims.

Thank you, too, for your latest Truth Summit interviewees. Their suggestions, strategies for making a difference were most appreciated. Thank you so much for all your efforts in disseminating TRUTH, and our Western values, so dear to most of us.

What has always worked for me is my book, The Story of Mohammed: Islam Unveiled. Have you tried getting a sample of kids to read it and see the difference in attitudes?

Keep trying, you are on the right track.

About your encounter with the students Very interesting experience.

You asked how to reach students who think Israel is the big bad wolf.

You have got to call them on it, hold them fully accountable for their position. No euphemism, no sugar coating. They have become an enemy to humanity hiding in the bubble of the university. They are the enemy within...

Anyone who supports Hamas supports genocide. They are rank and blatant supporters of genocide. They should not be considered American or Canadian citizens.Tthey have become the evil spawn.

The majority of students and faculty support Hamas. These are true low life people. The enemies of humanity.

I hint that you are duplicitous because you have not called them out on the severity of their position - anyone who does not call them out is an accomplice to their vileness.

how to reach students who think Israel is the big bad wolf.

You could start with:

When Israel took over the Gaza Strip from Egypt in the 6 Day War in 1967 the population of Gaza was 280,000. Today it is estimated at 1,800,000. This is genocide? Population growth of over 6X in less than 50 years!?

and then ask them to briefly write down how it was that Israel came to 'occupy' the Palestinian land ? I say ask them to write briefly, so that they can read out their own beliefs rather than get involved in others misconceptions.

Once you straighten that out, a history of how the Arab world has treated Palestinians, naturally leads into a discussion of how Israel treats the Palestinians both citizens and in 'disputed' areas.

I comparison chart of all that would be very enlightening, especially with those same students that you describe below, and I would love to follow up.

Additional classes on what DBS of Israel really means i.e. all the cell phones, computers and medical cures that would need to be abandoned, and once that is done, I nice follow up lesson would be on why they adopted their initial positions to begin with.

Then, this may also be a good video to play once the previous discussions have concluded.

I would get the students to describe an Israeli soldier.

I would then show them this video without sound or subtitles and ask them to describe the sense of the person they get from this video. Not what he is saying, but what type of person he is, before playing it with subtitles.

Warm regards,

L.S.

To answer your question about how can we reach people (although I suspect that you know this already given your laudable efforts), every clear-thinking person needs to be involved in speaking out against the evils of this ideology and its incompatibility with free societies.

There also needs to be a cataclysmic change in the political landscape wherein political leaders are very open about the dangers that unrestricted immigration from such countries will spell for the future of our Western values.

Bottom line: Without a massive and drastic change of policy, the West will die. It might take another 200 years but once a sufficient number of adherents of that ideology cross the borders, it is death by a thousand cuts (slow and painful).

If/when ISIS attacks the US using Mexico as a new form of the GAZA, would the rest of the world condemn the US for defending itself? Would those students condemn their US gov't for defending itself? It could be a scenario of attacking our Southern border, but it could also be a nuclear missile fired from the Atlantic ocean. Would we have the right to defend ourselves from attacks upon New York City? Washington D.C., or any other targets from a weaponized vessel? Wonder how your students would feel if it was there home that was obliterated? There family members and friends killed and wounded? Would we be the aggressor if we destroyed the Mexican cities which contained ISIS weaponry? Would we be the aggressor if we destroyed an ocean going armed vessel disguised as and carrying Islamic civilians on an alleged ocean voyage to the Bahamas? If we have the right to protect and defend our nation, would not Israel be equally entitled? If not - Why not?

I wish I had an answer. It makes no sense; they aren't applying logic, they appear to be applying emotion. The closest example I can think of is the desire to stand up for the little guy, the underdog. In this case, however, the underdog is evil personified - why would anyone want to stand up for that. The other point is that although Israel appears to be the big, bad, bully to them (because they don't die as much as Hamas/Palestinians), Israel really is the underdog; a small island of Jews surrounded by Muslims - Israel has to be prepared, they are so heavily out-numbered in the region. Why can't the students understand that? Shakes my faith in the next generation of political leaders...

This is a war an ideolgical war. The students who are for hamas are the enemy of those who support Israel. Your dialogue with them proves this point. They have long been endoctrinated by the college and high school faculty. They will not change. They have choosen the side they want to be on.

The majority of students, academics and democrats support the genocide of Israel. Have you come to terms with this fact? These student, their faculty and the Obama administration support the genocide of Israel. These are vile people and you have proven the point.

You have reached them and discovered their rottten core.

REPLY - ELSA

It isn't my experience that the students have a rotten core.

In fact, if that were true, we would be lost - and that isn't my sense. I ask: how best to reach people?

Yes, they have been indoctrinated - but no, it's not my experience at all that they are vile people.

It is my experience that they are good at blocking information that goes against their bias.

But people change.

I do agree: this is - in good part - an ideological war, a war of ideas. And in fact, I would go further: it's a war where only one side cares about the truth.

****

Hi Elsa,

Firstly, you are amazing for entering a lion's den. A college campus is a lion's den of leftist ideals these days.

I have some thoughts about this conundrum, which is quite perplexing. It is so obvious to any logical person who the "good guy" is. Yonason Rosenblum, a friend of my sister's and a prolific writer in the Orthodox Jewish community recently said that an anti-semite has to really work hard and bend over backwards to have such feelings when the facts are so self-evident.

The point you made about the discrepancy between the loss of lives between the two sides is so true. I recently heard the same sentiment on the John Batchelor Show, which broadcasts in NY and is sometimes co-hosted by Malcolm Hoenlein, an activist on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people. That is what gets people so mad. (Incidentally, I'm sure you know that about 13% of the rockets fired from Gaza went right into Gaza, so that is surely a good chunk of that death toll. The other fact is that the overwhelming majority ( 7 out of 10, I believe) Palestinian deaths were males between the ages of 18-30, as Israel tried painstakingly to target only terrorists. The media makes it seem that only women and children were killed.

Anyway, did you ever hear of Evan Sayet? He was a liberal, now conservative comedian. His speeches are very funny. You can download them easily. (It's good to laugh at liberals, it takes off some of the stress!) One of the points he makes is that the media can never suggest that one culture is superior to another, or they will be called bigots. Cast in this light, the Israel/Gaza war is just 2 sides fighting (moral equivalency), and of course Israel is the aggressor since the death toll is not even, not fair play. Those who just consume media output I.e. liberals, will believe those fools.

Also, David Horowitz points out in articles and in his new book, that conservatives cannot win the war of ideas through only logic and facts. We need to use emotion. The left is very good at manipulating emotion and stewing resentment. Ben Shapiro, who is with Truth Revolt, a brainchild of Horowitz, illustrated how to silence the anti-semites. It is worth it (if you haven't already) to download Ben Shapiro at a BDS rally at UCLA turning around the decision based on his 3 minute speech. He used emotion, He accused the pro-BDSers of being Jew haters. He exposed them for who they were, in quite an amazing way. Very worth viewing!

As Ron Dermer, the current ambassador to Israel, pointed out in a recent article, the WWYD approach sometimes works when talking to an ignorant crowd. (What would you do in that situation, when your entire population has to flee to bomb shelters in fear.?)

These are just passing thoughts. I am sure you considered these as well.

Psss... next time bring Ben Shapiro along with you. :)

Love,

your online friend,

A.

If they feel Israel was so good at defending itself, it had no right to strike so hard, then they should draw the same conclusion regarding an attack against the US. I fail to find any logic in the way they analyze right from wrong. It tells me that we are failing in teaching our children, what our parents taught us. I fear that Common Core will modify our education system to a propaganda system to completely obliterate Christian/Judea values.

Re the way students supported Hamas. I hate to relay other people’s speeches. On the subject of ethics in Gaza, here is what Yair Lapid said in part:

Anyone who criticizes us must ask themselves one question: “What would you do if someone came to your child’s school with a gun in their hand and started shooting?”

Hamas, as opposed to us, wants to kill Jews. Young or old, men or women, soldiers or civilians. They see no difference, because for them we are not people. We are Jews and that is reason enough to murder us.

Our moral test, even under these circumstances, is to continue to distinguish between enemies and innocents. Every time a child in Gaza dies it breaks my heart. They are not Hamas, they are not the enemy, they are just children.

Therefore Israel is the first country in military history that informs its enemy in advance where and when it will attack, so as to avoid civilian causalities. Israel is the only country that transfers food and medication to its enemy while the fighting continues. Israel is the only country where pilots abandon their mission because they see civilians on the ground. And despite it all, children die, and children are not supposed to die.

Here in Europe, and elsewhere in the world, people sit in their comfortable homes, watching the evening news, and tell us that we are failing the test. Why? Because in Gaza people suffer more. They don’t understand — or don’t want to understand — that the suffering of Gaza is the main tool of evil. When we explain to them, time after time, that Hamas uses the children of Gaza as human shields, that Hamas intentionally places them in the firing line, to ensure they die, that Hamas sacrifices the lives of the young to win its propaganda war, people refuse to believe it. Why? Because they cannot believe that human beings — human beings who look like them and sound like them — are capable of behaving that way. Because good people always refuse to recognize the totality of evil until it’s too late.

Time after time we ask ourselves why people in the world prefer to blame us when the facts so clearly indicate otherwise. Across the world, fanatic Muslims are massacring other Muslims.

In Syria, in Iraq, in Libya, in Nigeria more children are killed in a week than die in Gaza in a decade. Every week, women are raped, homosexuals are hung and Christians are beheaded. The world watches, offers its polite condemnation, and returns obsessively to condemning Israel for fighting for our lives.

Some of the criticism stems from anti-Semitism. It has raised its ugly head once more. To those people we say: we will fight you everywhere. The days when Jews ran away from you are over. We will not be silent in the face of anti-Semitism and we expect every government, in every country, to stand shoulder to shoulder with us and fight this evil with us.

Other critics, perhaps more enlightened in their own eyes, prefer to blame only us for what happens in Gaza because they know we are the only ones who listen. They prefer to focus their anger upon us not in spite of but because we are committed to the same human values which Hamas rejects – compassion for the weak, rationality, protection of gay people, of women’s rights, of the freedom of religion and freedom of speech.

Let us not fool ourselves. Evil is here. It is around us. It seeks to hurt us. Fundamentalist Islam is an ultimate evil, and like the evil which came before it, has learned how to use all our tools against us: Our TV cameras, our international organizations, our commissions of inquiry and our legal system. Just as terror uses rockets and suicide bombers, it uses our inability to accept that someone would sacrifice the children of their people just to get a supportive headline or an eye-catching photograph.

Standing here, in this place, I want to say clearly that the leaders of Hamas, an anti-western, anti-Semitic terrorist organization, cannot be safe while they continue to target innocent civilians. Just as every European leader would do, just as the United States did with Osama Bin Laden, so we will pursue every leader of Hamas.

This is the evil which we all face and Israel stands at the front.

Europe must know, if we will fail to stop them, they will come for you. We must do everything to avoid suffering and the death of innocents but we stand in the right place from which to say to the entire world: We will not board the train again. We will protect ourselves from total evil.

The first part of the speech talked about how the German Jews went peacefully to their deaths because they couldn’t believe in evil, and how the evil was the stripping of a person of humanity.

Sorry to send such a laden email.

All the best,

I saw a great video recently on abortion. A Pro-Life advocate interviewed a number of students, all of which were for abortion. He asked why they felt that way, and they gave their reasons. He must have done this several times before because he had a number of perfect examples and arguments (with charts and pictures) that he used to counter the points made by the students. He did this largely on a one on one basis (maybe two students at a time), and worked through each of their points, showing how their points were not well reasoned. He did it not by telling them what to think, but by asking them questions and having them make choices - they had to actually think, and they then formulated a position and a basis for that position. By the end of the session, they had changed their minds. That might be what needs to be done. A lot of one by one (so they don't have a crowd to support them), with valid points of rebuttal with facts, pictures, everything to support the rebuttal, but done in a way that involves them, gets them to participate critically and see the fallacy of their thinking. Sounds like a long, laborious process, but that's often what you have to do to change a mindset that's been hammered into them for so long.

Which brings me to my main point. We're where we are because we were asleep at the wheel. The liberals were smart enough to know that if they groom our children with the liberal agenda, then in just a generation they will have everyone on their side. That needs to be fixed, we need to fix the educational system, teach them how to reason for themselves, see both sides of the picture and then choose which way they go based on all of the facts presented to them. That was actually the way it was done when I was a kid, I don't know when or how it slipped away from us. It's all slanted one way now, the liberal way, and that has resulted in the liberal media - they've learned well. Now we have a generation we need to de-program and get to reason for themselves.

Great approach. The Socratic method (more or less): question people on what they are saying, go from question to question - in other words, make them think.

Another speaker who might be worth the time is that christian iraqi- IQ Al-Rasooli. His lectures are blunt incisive, and as an arab christian he has no hesitation in speaking about the koran, hadiths and sira, and the actual history of Islam as well as the theology. His discussions about the utterly phony tyrannical theology, with its paranoid conspiracy theory's, it's utter contempt for human life, rights and the questioning of any of Islam or mohammad are well worth the time to discuss with him.

Your presentation is horribly biased and you can only "get through" to reasonable people when you provide reasonable and objective evidence to support your position.

Reasoned debate on the issues in Gaza require that Jewish people research the question of why Hamas exists in Gaza.

J.H.

****

Very complex question. Will try to write a synopsis about it, but there is much more.

Your question about Israel hatred. One aspect of this anti-Israeli attitude is antisemitism, which is totally transparent to those afflicted.

The classical antisemite would say: "I am not an antisemite, my dislike of Jews is objectively based".

For antisemites, their prejudice is part of the presuppositions (axioms, or postulates). These axioms cannot be examined logically because their logic rests on these axioms.

2 thousand years of Christian conditioning is very deep in our culture.

And unlike prejudice against Blacks, or against women, we have not had any concerted effort to expose and remove this prejudice.

The very existence of this prejudice is denied not only by the antisemites, but by most Jews who'd like to pretend that it does not exist, and they like to pretend that they are not "really" Jewish.

Anyway, antisemitism is a very important subject. Because Jews indeed are the canaries in the coal mine.

First, the 2000 dead number is not a confirmed count. Some sources say it is considerably less.

Two, Hamas has killed 1,000 Israelis over the past 10 year war of attrition with suicide and other market-type civilian bombings.

Three, in a war, one side wins, the other loses.

If the number of Palestinians lost in the recent retaliatory attacks by Israel is closer to 1000 than 2000, then in the context of the ongoing conflict of the past 10 years, the numbers are much closer. In the end, Israel has better technology and so will win any engaged battle. You might ask the students why Hamas might engage in a battle it knows it cant win and suggest it may be in order to manipulate world opinion against Israel, to justify what is classic victim blaming. And then explore the concept of victim blaming. How it is easier, psychologically, to blame the target of aggression instead of the perpetrator. Good luck!

The Holocaust is a good example of life rebuilding. I know a guy who worked in the kitchen of a Nazi camp. A few years ago, Spielberg Foundation set aside $1 Million for his 2-day testimony. His memory is phenomenal. He became a doctor after the war, Dr George Novak.

I rarely mention the Holocaust when addressing the Gaza problem. It often turns people off because it’s an overused argument.

The example I use is the partition of India to create Pakistan which occurred during the same time period. Often, it’s the first time people hear of this and they listen. It compares well to Gaza. India was forced to give off part of its land to its muslim population which resulted in the creation of Pakistan. There were Hindus living in Pakistan and Muslims in India. The new Pakistan area was majority Muslim and they killed and kicked out the Hindus who lost everything and rebuilt their lives successfully in India.

Up till today, Indians are not trying to take back their land and they’re not launching missiles and sending suicide bombers into Pakistan. The same cannot be said for Pakistan (Mumbai attack and other sporadic but smaller events).

Looking at both countries today, one is successful and the other, less. Pakistan has serious Islamic militancy problems and Sharia rules the country (like Gaza). Also apartheid issue with its minority non-muslims going as far as bull blown ouster of Christians from some of their villages. While in India, there is a fair cohabitation between minorities although muslims still generate chaos at times (like in Israel).

If you think it applies, I suggest you use the India partition as an example.

Re: The Partition of India and the Independence:

The geographical locations of the Muslims had made the partitioning of India an even more complex procedure. In northern India the Muslims were concentrated in two major areas situated on the opposite sides of the country with a Hindu majority in between. Also almost the entire of north India was an intermixture of Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and other minorities. In the midst of all these, the Sikhs had also advocated for a nation of their own, but such claims had been brushed off by the British. Punjab with its almost equal ratios of Muslims and Sikhs had now developed into an extreme problem. Neither the Sikhs nor the Muslims had wanted to part with the wealthy and the fertile lands of the province and the feeling of apartheid was intense. As a result, the province had been partitioned right across the middle between Lahore and Amritsar. What had followed was an indescribable melee in which people had wanted to get on the preferred sides of the partition as dictated by their religious affiliations. People were ousted from their homes by their past neighbors that had resulted in millions of refugees. The partition had caused an absolutely chaotic and unwanted displacement of at least ten million people while 500, 000 lives were claimed in the affray.

If you haven't read The Cellist of Sarajevo by Steven Galloway, I recommend it. Based on a true story, it explores war, the targeting of civilians, siege conflicts, and the issue of child casualties. This challenge is attitudinal and comes down to those lines in Leonard Cohen's Isaac's Song - "when it all comes down to dust, I will kill you if I must, I will love you if I can".

Elsa might ask her students what their choice would be, as individuals, when a monster with a gun in one hand and a child in the other tries repeatedly to kill them, given the student is still alive only because of superior defensive armour. Consider the student cannot stay awake and on guard forever and is getting tired while the enemy sleeps whenever it wants because it is confident the student won't take advantage of its vulnerability.

The student knows that as soon as s/he is tired enough, her enemy will kill him/her.

The Dilemma: does the student sacrifice his/her own life to save the child her enemy is holding? Or does s/he kill the monster and risk the child being harmed or killed?

Ask those students who choose self sacrifice to think twice whether that is the right decision, given they know the monster will kill everyone of their kin, including children, and likely also kill the child in his/her arms, and given they know that the world will undoubtedly be better served by their values and beliefs than by those of the enemy monster. Do they kill or die in that situation? What is the right choice? I am not sure I know.

When I was younger I would likely have chosen self sacrifice and trusted God to make it right. But at this point in my life, I think I might choose differently considering God has entrusted me with experience and maturity and with responsibility to defend goodness, truth, innocence, beauty and to not lie down before and submit to evil. Kids today, they blow up so fast (Ezra Levant).

Thank you for your email about your experience with the students. Your students were educated in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions where, since the Cold War there has been an ever-heavier Marxist influence through student bodies especially. For example our former Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, in her student days was president of a left-wing student movement at a Melbourne university. When the Wall came down and the CPA (Communist Party of Australia) fell apart, some of its members swung across to join her student movement. That movement was later amalgamated into the Fabian Association of Australia. Membership in the Australian Fabians gives AUTOMATIC membership to the Australian Labor Party (ALP). That means that the CPA has penetrated the ALP, one of the two major political parties in Australia. Our former Prime Minister was directly involved in that process. This same influence spawned the anti-Vietnam War movement and was very powerful.

This same influence is still alive and well and is even more wide-spread now through their efforts in the UN - handed down from there to be enshrined as laws in some of our western countries. Human rights is one such guiding light. Our young are indoctrinated at school, high school, and university to have a mindset that drops neatly into line with this Marxist influence, because out teachers are part of the problem – they were indoctrinated too.

We in the West have the Universal Declaration of Human rights which is a nice document with nice aims for the downtrodden.

Here is Wikipedia - on Islamic countries:

Most Islamic countries have signed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. However, in 1948, Saudi Arabia abstained from the ratification vote on the Declaration, claiming that it violated Sharia law. Pakistan—which had signed the declaration—disagreed and critiqued the Saudi position. In 1982, the Iranian representative to the United Nations, Said Rajaie-Khorassani, said that the Declaration was "a secular understanding of the Judeo-Christian tradition" which could not be implemented by Muslims without conflict with Sharia. On 30 June 2000, members of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (now the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) officially resolved to support the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam, an alternative document that says people have "freedom and right to a dignified life in accordance with the Islamic Shari'ah", without any discrimination on grounds of "race, colour, language, sex, religious belief, political affiliation, social status or other considerations". Turkey—a secular state—signed the Declaration in 1948.

What is wrong with our human rights? Why do they not accept our standards? Why do the Muslim (57 by the way since the Palestinians were recognised as a nation in the UN) not accept that marvelous document and adhere to it? Why instead do they have their own Cairo Declaration of Human Rights????!!!!! Whaaaat??? I found at his link - READ.

It reads like an equally nice document with lovely aims and intentions – on the surface. Take particular note of paragraph 24 and 25, each of which says the same thing in a different way so there can be no confusion. The Islamic Sharia is the only yardstick by which this Declaration can be measured and it must comply with the Sharia. In other words, it is all a sham, for the benefit of those who know everything and see nothing, just follow blindly where they are led. It means that in Islam there are no human rights – as we know already, but that this Declaration is a tool with which the OIC can fool the stupid and ignorant into thinking that everything is hunky dory in the world and, “Back to sleep now, Infidels.” Link this with suitable quotes from the Quran or Hadith to illustrate what you are on about and maybe, just maybe you may succeed – pigs might fly too. Cognitive dissonance will be your stumbling block.

All the best,

Thank you Elsa for this blog. I recently posted a video highlighting problems faced by Israel in the Middle East, and someone commented that I was inciting hatred against the Palestines. Very little is mentioned how Hamas uses its own people as human shields, uses schools as launching grounds and that they have launched thousands of rockets into Israel with the main intent to kill thousands.

There is no denying that Hamas and other radical/extremist religious groups such as IS employ barbaric methods and moreover oppress women and minorities. Where is the voice of those women sold into marriage by IS in Syria?

Re: What's worked for you?

As you have found “Human rights” is the glue that brings us all together regardless of what we believe. Pardon me, if I say that, on this metric Israel will struggle to gain acceptance. It is a case of two wrongs do not make a right when we try defend Israel’s actions by comparing it with the behaviour of Islam.

So what is suggested may work is focusing on the human rights and the elephant in the room is Islam’s history in the slave trade. Over 1400 years starting with Mohammad who turned his captives in to slave, sex slaves which he became wealthy trading and now see being repeated as part of the Islamic conquest. In a nutshell, over the last 1400 years:

· The estimate is well over 100 million Africans have died as Islamic slaves. And over that amount have died in the raids which captured women and children, while killing the men and elderly.
· 40 million hindus have been enslaved
· 10 million Europeans
· The are no number recorded of Persians, Egyptians, Jews or Middle east tribes.
· Men were fully castrated to keep them calm and so they could not have sex with the slaves they were forced to mind,

We are talking about the worst type of human suffering which is enshrined in the quran as a unholy right of islam that will be forever long a practice while the quran is considered a holy book. While in the west we do have a shameful period of 300 years of slavery, this had ended two hundred years ago and American men had died freeing their fellowman.. But lets face the ugly truth that, most of these africans were provided by Islamic slave traders (google Zanzibar) and #BringbackOurGirls is just ongoing proof that slavery is forever with Islam.

Surely slavery is the most adherent of all practices and this on its own is the violation of our most basic rights.. Even muslims suffer greatly because an estimate of 20% of muslims are slaves and Black Africans are considered a slave class with the some of the hadiths suggesting that there are blacks and whites and hell is full of blacks.

This is the great battle, one of freedom and human rights where we are free to live and have a future. The word “Islam” means “submission” which means slavery.

When we fully understand the consequences of Islam, when we learn that over 200 million non muslims have died as slave, plus all the people forced to be muslims.. WHEN DO WE SAY ENOUGH?

This is the target that our young people and society should be condemning and proof that Islam should be no more.. Say No to Slavery.. Say no to Islam

ps We cannot blame Israel too much for its fight for survival but we do expect more from Israel and hence it is judged more harshly..

God bless and peace,

J.B.

I read your article with hope! Hope that perhaps you had an answer to this question...why is Israel the kicking bag of the Middle East? Why does the world think of us as murderers?

But, the answer remains in the air .. somewhere .. I know in my heart that every word you wrote is truth...not conjecture. We are a democracy, with 20% Moslem population, leading the world in research in technology, medicine, hospitals that treat peoples from all over the world (including Gazans, Syrians and families of VIP's Arab World).

Today, the threat of ISIS and EL QAIDA who are literally sitting in our back yard (btw, I live 3 Kms from the Syrian border in the Golan) is greater than ever. This threat is constantly on my mind, as I sit in my comfortable home and garden, surrounded by grandchildren and pets. THEY are only a few minutes away from me.

Today our children return to school .... I have lots of phone calls to make, wishing them good luck....but I had to answer you.

Thank you for your determination....

Warm regards,

S.M.

Didn't you mention about the '48 war where Israelis begged them not to leave? It’s well documented in online archives. Most people don’t know this. Also, the land the Israelis acquired was mostly desert and today, it’s among the most beautiful countries in the world of which both populations profit from. Few people also know that Palestinian muslims sold their land to Israeli Jews. And even fewer know that today, if a muslim wants to leave and sell to a Jew, he'll be tortured and killed.
THIS HAS SHOCK VALUE - WATCH HERE.

The problem we have is few people know the history of the area as of the mid-1880s. It’s important to mention the almost non-existent Christian presence in the land of Christianity. Look at what they've done… They even kicked out most of the Christians and the few that are left are second-class citizens.

And this is where you don’t blame the muslims since they’re only obeying what their religion dictates.

S.T.

I'm certain you’re well prepared. People are visual today. I like the Bill Warner style. Very effective guy.

Quiet tone but firm. A bit of ironic humor throughout his presentations. Often he throws in a chart or two to accompany his presentation.

RE Gaza: I don’t even talk of the tunnels.. Gaza is Hamas which in turn is radical Islam, Iran and Qatar. Sharia Law rules Gaza. I stay all the way with Islam when debating Gaza. I also use Muslim Brotherhood Morsi and what happened there. I have a series of questions about this that I ask such as why doesn't any other Islamic country want Palestinians. Why? And I wait for them to answer. In this current conflict, only radical Qatar and Iran had an interest. Turkey (Erdogan's dream of becoming head of the caliphate) is also part of the equation. So, were back to Islam. These are the only three friends Gaza has left. And Erdogan backed out. That leaves two friends only.

ARTICLE - READ HERE.

I also speak about the money. Hamas are filthy rich. But funds and weapons have dried up since the past two years since Hamas leaders are living the life of the wealthy in Qatar, an expensive place of luxury. So, in order to get more money for their offshore accounts, they kidnapped the three Israeli teens knowing it would restart the conflict and it worked. Qatar promised Hamas Billions in $. Iran promised loads of weapons. And Hamas is back in business filling personal bank accounts. I tell them that those teen rock throwers are paid by Hamas. It’s become a trade: rock throwing. If they kill an Israeli, they get a bonus. If they get arrested, the families receive $1500/month. If they kill an Israeli and are arrested, family gets a bonus of $5,000 on top of the monthly salary. That’s why Gaza families never cry when their children are arrested.

Gaza - WATCH HERE.

Great example of humour and tone of voice - WATCH HERE.

Therefore, this is another approach to the discussion. An approach the students aren't aware of. When it comes to money, students understand money.

It's one of the videos I recommend (at the end of the piece I wrote) for people wanting quick easy info to understand the Israel - Middle East situation.

Great video!

The more people who see it, the better.

Elsa, eloquently expressed. I wish I could give suggestions -the only suggestion I can think of - send it everywhere you can – Twitter? To other educators?

And thank you.

Your expressions are graphic: the wall, and how to get through it.

The world can offer students in Montreal the freedom to move to countries where Sharia law is enforced. Goodness knows it's tough to ensure that the students have a free environment in which to exercise choice. Perhaps freedom is an illusion or always relative and partial, but once they choose, their lives (including university courses) would be altered root and branch.

For one thing, many of their friends would be killed, particularly the women at first. And most diversity would be eliminated.

For another, I'm coming to the belief that individuals have great value only in European culture. Other cultures emphasize the social role that the individual plays. The US Marines leave no one behind. Deaths matter to us, so that card is played to our media, or to the amygdala of adolescents. At some point teens grow tired of having their chain yanked, but there’s no obvious door in the wall that I can see.

Israel is never the instigator. Whenever she has to protect herself in order to continue to exist she receives little sympathy . No sympathy is forthcoming for any of her losses because they are relatively small in comparison to those who started the conflicts.

No country in the world that is forced to retaliate first warns its provocateur to take cover both with leaflets & vocal contact or even assists their opponents who are in need of medical help.

When Hamas is hiding in areas such as hospitals or schools they are the ones
directly responsible for the unfortunate victims that have died - not Israel.

Until Hamas or Abbas's Fatah recognize the State of Israel asa sovereign country that has a right to exist there will never ever be any hope for peace - only continuing skirmishes where more innocent people on both sides are killed.

First you need to understand why the Creator of the universe created the world, the purpose of creation, and then you can understand better the events happening now,and what the end result will be.

I guess cognitive dissonance has been the stumbling block (because of their indoctrination during their education) for the media and others from acknowledging the rise and rise of Islam, until ISIS and the grizzly be-headings shocked people out of their complacency and forced them to pay attention and to recognise the inherent danger of Islam to humanity. There are none so blind, etc ...

Maybe a bit more SHOCKING is required. SHOCK is the only thing that has worked so far it seems - liberally applied by ISIS.

People are often so absorbed in their own little world (especially young folk on their blasted iPhones) that it is necessary to crack them on the noggin to get their full and undivided attention. The message must be a compelling one to get through to them.

I myself was invited to join the army at age twenty, and then indoctrinated into the military way of thinking. I also trained on everything to do with the Cold War. The Communist bogey man against the West was the theme - but it was actually so true, and could be seen all around in operation if you cared to look. Read a book titled "The Spike" about how the global media censored through omission all stories that did not follow the "party line" of the Marxists to shape global public opinion about the Vietnam War.

Even Jane Fonda in her visit to a Prisoner camp in Hanoi during the war was instrumental in helping to shape opinions and did in fact commit treason by aiding the prison guards when a prisoner palmed a small note to her in an effort to get the message out that his captors were torturing the prisoners. She gave the note to the guards and the prisoner (her fellow countryman) was later tortured to within an inch of his life because of her helping the enemy in that way. How could she do such a thing?

You could say the same about your students. How could they be so blind? They are not trained to think for themselves, just to swallow what they are fed and accept it as truth without cross-checking the information elsewhere. Look for a way to shock them into seeing how wrong is the drivel they've been fed. Being nice does not cut the mustard. Also teach them to think. Ask questions. Make them think in order to arrive at an answer. Challenge them.

Mobilise parental opinion and power to change the education system and the curriculum and replace those in the system who facilitated it all - one school at a time - use the Muslim subversion of the schools in Birmingham in the UK as an example of what happens if you ignore reality. Target the education minister at the next election, so he/she loses the seat they occupy. A show of power at the ballot box will ALWAYS get a politician's attention and galvanise them into action by placing their job and income in jeopardy. These are operations that SAND hopes to get stuck into, but in the meantime, think of who you know who could get behind it - someone in your supporter group who is in advertising and marketing. This career path centres around Psychological Operations, but in the civilian world, and has all the skills required to carry it off. Facilitate them into it. (leadership) Set up a think-tank of locals and put heads together to nut out the problem with the "advertiser" as mentor. :-) Redefine the way teachers are indoctrinated and coached to actually teach. Long-term goals, for short term planning and organisation.

Require them to pass an examination at a minimum standard before being let loose on the boards in front of a class or lecture room.

Just some ideas.

Regards,

B.B.

Those college students, I think they must be told blunt details beyond what is allowed to be presented.

I realize that doesn't really help, but consider the obvious news this week - and known for years but furiously ignored: the mass sexual enslavement in England of some over 1400 girls, in merely one city.

Think of the catholic churches scorched for 20 yrs now.

Think about how the muslims are allowed to hide behind the claim to be the oppressed minority.

Think about the blinding light of that hideous exposure.

All the exposures need to be similarly presented, and told to show:

'Where is the understanding of any of this by all you humanists, you equality of everything for all', you who hide behind this utopian fantasy whilst all the butchery, savagery and slaughters are ignored and blamed on 'all others', like tiny Israel."

That's what I think has to be done.

No more apologies, no more, 'let's come to an understanding,' "lets see how we are similar.'

Leon Uris' book, Exodus, informed me greatly about the creation of Israel and the interesting facts surrounding the UN vote remain still with me. Empathy for the Jews of the Holocaust and the need for a homeland can only be gained through education.

First, we should stop calling Islam a religion. It is simply a deeply evil, primitive eschatological supremacism. Islam does not have - as real religions do - any authentic moral underpinnings. It's a perverse judicial system all right, but morality has nothing to do with its primitive concepts.

The comparison of several experiences - the Jewish survivors, the infinitely offended Gazans, and the experience in India during the partition - made me realize that this triumvirate would make a good basis for a book, were one knowledgeable enough in geo-politics, history, and esp. psychology.

Another point. Islam is anything but united, as has been shown so horrifically in Iraq. It fractures, then breaks into opposing camps and then continues splintering. It doesn't even effectively unite against non-Muslims. Rather, different factions fight their own supremacist battles wherever they go but they never stop vying for power.

R.B.

A quote I read somewhere.... 'you can never awake someone who... pretending... to be asleep."

You see, they are pretending not to understand, and that's because utopian ideologies, always turn off the thinking, feeling, reasoning package. They become outlawed as 'unlawful thinking and feeling'. And so do the facts that eradicate that perfection or otherwise, perfect tyranny of the utopians.

So, the battle goes on to erase their 'sleep' and awaken the pretending sleeper....

1. the story of Jefferson and Adams at the 1789 meeting at the first Jihad attack upon the US. One before there was any U.S., before there was any modern Israel, and it was clearly by the muslim ambassador why the Jihad was occurring and what it meant:

".....Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, in 1786 ambassadors (Jefferson in Paris, Adams in London) from the newly-established American Republic still under the Articles of Confederation (the Treaty of Paris had been signed in 1783, the Constitution was ratified only in 1787). They had a meeting with the representative of Tripolitania (present-day Libya) then in the Great Britain, Sidi Haji Rahmand Adja. Like other Christian maritime powers, the American state had suffered from the state-piracy of Muslim corsairs. The word “piracy” implies mere seeking at random for booty, and is inadequate to describe the formal system by which Muslim corsairs had for centuries been making war on Christian shipping, with the foreknowledge (indeed, often registering in advance either the places their ships would be going, or what Infidel shipping they intended to attack) and support of the Muslim rulers of the North African states -- which, in turn, were ostensibly under the control of the Ottoman rulers in Istanbul.

Both Jefferson and Adams were learned men. Take a tour in Quincy or at Monticello and look at their libraries, and then imagine the reading material that sustains the current, or the last few, American presidents. But they had no reason to know about Islam. They were interested in the civilization of the West, to which they belonged. Islam was merely a disturbing and violent intruder, to south and east, of that West. The notion that someday Muslims in the Western world would be insisting that the Western world owed so much to Islam, that the Renaissance was practically a Muslim invention, that without Islam the great civilization of the Western world was unthinkable, would have been regarded by them as what it is: absurdity, from first to last, a travesty of history.

But did they know much about what prompted Muslim behavior? No. So they asked why the Barbary states (present-day Morocco, Algerian, Tunisia, and Libya) would continually attack American and all other Infidel shipping, seize the cargoes and the sailors, taking both back to Islamic lands and enslaving those Christian seamen who sometimes could be ransomed, sometimes not. So they asked the ambassador, Mr. Adja, why the Muslims of the Maghrib, the “Barbary pirates” as they were known in the West, did as they did.

He had no trouble answering them, as the report written by Jefferson and Adams to the Continental Congress shows:

“…that it was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise.”

Nothing surprising here to any contemporary Muslim, though many will wish that Americans will never read that paragraph above, especially since it was written by two of the Founders, two of the Framers of that Constitution which is so flatly contradicted by the principles and Holy Law of Islam. It is easy to denounce this or that truth-teller about Islam today, but not quite so easy for Muslims to denounce or attempt to belittle a report written by Thomas Jefferson and John Adams.
----------------------------------------

Paying Jizyah is a Sign of Kufr and Disgrace

Allah said,

[حَتَّى يُعْطُواْ الْجِزْيَةَ]

(until they pay the Jizyah), if they do not choose to embrace Islam,

[عَن يَدٍ]

(with willing submission), in defeat and subservience,

[وَهُمْ صَـغِرُونَ]

(and feel themselves subdued.), disgraced, humiliated and belittled. Therefore, Muslims are not allowed to honor the people of Dhimmah or elevate them above Muslims, for they are miserable, disgraced and humiliated. Muslim recorded from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet said,

«لَا تَبْدَءُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى بِالسَّلَامِ، وَإِذَا لَقِيتُمْ أَحَدَهُمْ فِي طَرِيقٍ فَاضْطَرُّوهُ إِلَى أَضْيَقِه»

(Do not initiate the Salam to the Jews and Christians, and if you meet any of them in a road, force them to its narrowest alley.) This is why the Leader of the faithful `Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, demanded his well-known conditions be met by the Christians, these conditions that ensured their continued humiliation, degradation and disgrace. The scholars of Hadith narrated from `Abdur-Rahman bin Ghanm Al-Ash`ari that he said, "I recorded for `Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, the terms of the treaty of peace he conducted with the Christians of Ash-Sham: `In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. This is a document to the servant of Allah `Umar, the Leader of the faithful, from the Christians of such and such city. When you (Muslims) came to us we requested safety for ourselves, children, property and followers of our religion. We made a condition on ourselves that we will neither erect in our areas a monastery, church, or a sanctuary for a monk, nor restore any place of worship that needs restoration nor use any of them for the purpose of enmity against Muslims. We will not prevent any Muslim from resting in our churches whether they come by day or night, and we will open the doors [of our houses of worship] for the wayfarer and passerby. Those Muslims who come as guests, will enjoy boarding and food for three days. We will not allow a spy against Muslims into our churches and homes or hide deceit [or betrayal] against Muslims. We will not teach our children the Qur'an, publicize practices of Shirk, invite anyone to Shirk or prevent any of our fellows from embracing Islam, if they choose to do so. We will respect Muslims, move from the places we sit in if they choose to sit in them. We will not imitate their clothing, caps, turbans, sandals, hairstyles, speech, nicknames and title names, or ride on saddles, hang swords on the shoulders, collect weapons of any kind or carry these weapons. We will not encrypt our stamps in Arabic, or sell liquor. We will have the front of our hair cut, wear our customary clothes wherever we are, wear belts around our waist, refrain from erecting crosses on the outside of our churches and demonstrating them and our books in public in Muslim fairways and markets. We will not sound the bells in our churches, except discretely, or raise our voices while reciting our holy books inside our churches in the presence of Muslims, nor raise our voices [with prayer] at our funerals, or light torches in funeral processions in the fairways of Muslims, or their markets. We will not bury our dead next to Muslim dead, or buy servants who were captured by Muslims. We will be guides for Muslims and refrain from breaching their privacy in their homes.' When I gave this document to `Umar, he added to it, `We will not beat any Muslim. These are the conditions that we set against ourselves and followers of our religion in return for safety and protection. If we break any of these promises that we set for your benefit against ourselves, then our Dhimmah (promise of protection) is broken and you are allowed to do with us what you are allowed of people of defiance and rebellion.'''

(30. And the Jews say: "Uzayr (Ezra) is the son of Allah,'' and the Christians say: "The Messiah is the son of Allah.'' That is their saying with their mouths, resembling the saying of those who disbelieved aforetime. May Allah fight them, how they are deluded away from the truth!) (31. They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah, and (they also took as their Lord) the Messiah, son of Maryam, while they were commanded to worship none but One God, none has the right to be worshipped but He. Praise and hallowed be He above what they associate (with Him).'')

-----------------------------------------

The point?
The point is to show endlessly, that hiding behind the fact that all 'muslims' are not Jihadists is utterly false. Overwhelmingly most nazi's never killed a jew. But the theology sure did, and the same with Mohammad and his ideology of islam, 'submitting' all others, is the command for all muslims to shut their mouths, never protest the violent homicidal jihad performers of Islam as they are the finest... and they and all muslim have to shut their mouths, because they have no individual rights to protest. Then show all the homicidal murders by Mohammad of all those who dared to criticize him and his using assassins to slaughter these victims and glorify their horrifying deaths. There are so many and too many to name but I can send along examples, but you know them I'm sure.

The firm commitment to show what Human rights means is not... 'that if a culture was not in favor of human rights such as male-female equality, racial equality, sexual orientation equality, freedom of religion, most of the students considered human rights more important than valuing the culture.

Because if that were the case, all these utopians who profess everything and everyone is equal does nothing: if they looked at Islam and what it says, did, does and promises to do forever to all who don't bow to it, would end any affection for it.

But since there is no critical review of all movements, beliefs, ideologies, of individuals and nations then there is no actual sense of the good, versus the bad, of bad or worse. And so, ramming facts politely and never stopping and never apologizing is the only way.... and maybe G-d will have some mercy on those who actually will have to fight this vulgar madness, but who knows... we've earned these idiot mass homicidists amongst us because we have stood against any of this for over 100 yrs.
