WE'VE JUST BEGUN IS DONE!!

I'm writing to you today because, finally, We've Just Begun is done. Version 3. Plus, that new word, Islamo-hegemony, got a reader to respond, "Love the word. But how do we pronounce the darn thing?" And then, 3 events.

A request. Please listen to We've Just Begun. And if you like it, pass it on as far as you can. For instance, a friend is passing it to Nigel Farage.

We've Just Begun - video

This is one of those pieces that kept tugging at me - try this, and what about that. I'm super lucky to be working with a sound producer friend, ever ready to take a piece further.

I'm going to include just 2 of the most recent comments:

Get it to Trump!!!!!!!!!
Jennie, Canada

Just one word: W O W !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everybody has to hear your video.
And especially politicians.

Robert Madore, Canada

Can anything get through to brain-wrecked politicians who cannot see danger when it's raining bricks? I'm actually more hopeful that the piece by be helpful to the minority of political people already at least somewhat aware. They can use all the help they can get.

We've Just Begun - optimism and the commitment to getting the job done.

Just now, in the Netherlands, Geert Wilders is sometimes ahead in the polls, sometimes tied, sometimes running second. The election: March 15. In France, for the first time, Marine Le Pen has a good chance of winning. The election: April 23 - May 7. May they both win.

In Canada, We've Just Begun has been sent to Kellie Leitch and Brad Trost, the Conservative candidates who seem to have the best grasp of the importance of Western values like freedom of speech, and the dangers associated with Islam.

Will it get to Trump? We will see. Let me know (if you feel like it) of anyone you're sending it to, or think I should send it to.

And now, how does one pronounce that darn word, Islamo-hegemonic, and also Islamo-hegemony?

First, I'm assuming everyone knows how to pronounce Islamo. So on to hegemonic and hegemony.

Hegemonic. It starts with "hedge" (like a hedge around a garden), then continues with "demonic" (just skip the "d") - hedge-emonic.

As for hegemony, it also starts with "hedge" (as in hedge your bets, or hedge funds). Next, "e" - the same sound as at the start of "every." As for the end, it ends with "money." So, hedge-e-money.

Islamo-hegemony - that's about people putting their money on Islam! As for us, we're betting against it, and working against it - against Islamo-hegemony/Islamo-control/Islamo-domination.

You can also listen to the pronunciation:
hegemony:
https://m-w.com/hegemony
hegemonic

Someone wrote: good word!! Now let's see if it can be spread. My answer: THEY've spread Islamophobia far and wide. It's up to us to spread Islamo-hegemony and Islamo-hegemonic. For instance, any time someone worries about Islamophobia, we can come back with: That's so Islamo-hegemonic!!! Islamo-hegemony - one of the biggest dangers of our times!!!

If you've found ways to use the word - "Cream and sugar? And what about some Islamo-hegemony?" - let me know.

Before I leave the word, a reminder: I like the word, but it's a friend, Robert Frankling, who thought it up.

Another friend just came up with another word (and then found out it's already in the dictionary). Veritaphobia - irrational dread of the truth.

He also asked: what do we focus on? especially given the prevalent dread of the truth?

His thought: something that the veritaphobes are not phobic about. He thought of corruption - a criminal activity. Another friend thinks that the best weapon is the moral one. In his case, his focus in on genocide - namely the Islamic condoning of genocide. My big thing, freedom.

The reality: we're drawn to different things. Halal. False teachings about Islam. Mass immigration.

And with that, all the best to all of us who care and dare to do,

Elsa

PS. And now, for those of you near Ottawa, 3 events. The last will also be held in Montreal.

On Saturday, March 18th, I will be speaking on French immersion - just one more facet of the supposedly dominant (the English-speaking, in this case) caving in to the demands of the supposedly non-dominant. For almost 2 generations, without testing, French immersion programs have been established across Canada (most of which is English-speaking). The programs have been extremely expensive, not just in terms of money. There are huge emotional and intellectual costs, especially to students, both those within and outside the programs. There ends up, for instance, being a 2-tier system; students in the system are deprived of the easier learning that comes when learning in a main language; and students are inculcated with the supposedly horrific history of the English as oppressors. By the way, do the kids in French immersion end up fluent in French? No. In other words, no carrot at the end of the stick.

I'll be talking both about the specific situation, and how this fits with the enormous worldwide Western phenomenon: the CAVE-IN, the cowtowing, the submission, to the demanding "poor victims."

What do we do? That will be my final focus. It's an absolutely essential focus. We usually start by dealing with specific instances, like people dealing with specific instances of an illness. The specific focus is needed. But we are all also part of a dangerous worldwide phenomenon. Very few people have any awareness, especially when they start, of the intense social forces at play - psychological, educational, economic, political.

So what do we do to deal with both the specific situation and the global one? A major suggestion: link up, share understandings, while continuing with our own concern.

We all know the old saying: united we stand.
